Isolated snow is a photographic project that began in December 2020 and ended in March 2021.
Snow-heavy winters, with temperatures often falling below -20°C degrees, seem to have become an integral part of every Lithuanian's life. However, as over the last few years, the winters warmed nonetheless the snow rarely fell, such images seemed like distant childhood memories.
Winter of 2020/2021 was the first winter in quarantine and the first one, after a long time, with a large amount of snow and temperatures that sting the faces. The isolation created by the quarantine provided a chance to reconnect while isolated with little things we took for granted.
